[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Charges non maintenance charges on my account | |||
I have not operated my salary account and had no balance in it. So the bank started charging for non maintenance of minimum balance and now my account balance is -7, 429.01. The same is with demat account. First year the service was free. I never used it and yesterday I got a message to pay 858.75 rs. I want to close this account and demat account. HDFC TAMILNADU CHENNAI VELACHERY branch in addition to collecting processing fees collecting a cheque in the name of AAV partner for the amount 1800 rs at the time of Home loan disbursement without intimating earlier.Is this legal?Do HDFC or Indian Government aware of this information?
