After getting sick and tired of calls for credit card, I finally decided to opt for one since there was a 'special offer' going on for my company. All the supporting documents were given. I received as many as 4 verification calls and proper details were given. In spite of this, finally, when the card arrived (I thought it never would!), the name has been printed wrongly. When I got in touch with the customer care, I was told to give that in writing and drop it at the nearest branch. When I said that it was a mistake on front of HDFC, the representative just put me on hold. This is a new way of tackling 'pesky' customers when they dont' have answers to your queries. Either HDFC should issue me a new card or take it back. I will not be doing any running around business.
