HDFC Bank — Creditcard Charges

I am HDFC Credit card Holder and was suppose to pay the due 27/08/2015, I issued the cheque infavour of HDFC on 23th night and it didn't got clear till 28 th. When I call the customer care for this they replied saying that it take 5 days for clearing the cheque .This is the way HDFC charge the delay payment on customer and make in come they also charge the customer if they doesn't deposit the money the home branch (there is no meaning of Globalization) HDFC is one of the worst bank .Please look into this issue because they and making lots of money by wrong way.
