[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Fraud calls in the name of HDFC Bank Credit Card services | |||
I got a call from +91-[protected] at 3:09 pm on 25th August 2015 saying that it's a verification call from HDFC Bank credit card about some services which are activated on my credit card. The lady on the call kept asking me about my Credit Card number and other details.I refused and asked her to reveal her identity but she denied to do so and disconnected the call. Now i am trying to call on the same number but not getting any response. Someone did pick my call later since i kept calling them again and again but immediately disconnected the call when i interrogated them about their office address. This is a criminal activity and now my faith in HDFC services has been lost as I do not know with whom and where you are sharing my account number, credit card number, debit card number. Some one should investigate these fake calls. Either HDFC should protect their customer's bank details from getting public or the Government should take necessary action against the criminals. Hi HDFC Credit Card Team,
Today morning (14th July) I have received a call from a number ([protected]), claiming them to HDFC Bank Credit card department Bank officials . They told me that my HDFC credit card record is very good and going by the past record they are offering some gift packages and T-shirts which will be delivered to my Personal Address.
After which they asked me my Credit card number to authenticate me . I provided them my 14 digit Diner Club International Credit Card number . After listening to the card number, they seemed to be confused and told that the number needs to 16 digit and not 14 digit . One of their senior member who was a lady spoke to me that the credit card number furnished by me is not matching with their data and they will come back to me in 30 mins . After they did not call me .
I am definitely finding some foul play here and that is the reason I want to draw your attention in this case . Please have a close watch on my card transactions for few days and for any abnormal activities, please inform me ASAP. Also please take adequate steps to curb this menace as this is bringing a bad repute to your organization .

Some one called me today from HDFC Bank for credit card her number is [protected] They are asking about my details and payslips. Is her number and her is genuine or not.
