[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Fraud Transaction in HDFC Bank Credit Card | |
On June 10, 2020, I had made a transaction at a local shop in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh for checking my credit card and on the same day, there was a fraud transaction worth 15k that took place in Mumbai without my consent or authorization via OTP and I didn't receive any message of this transaction as well. I had noticed this transaction in the credit card statement of that month. I had contacted the bank after noticing at the earliest and after a few attempts, they had asked us to contact to customer care but we didn't receive any response from the bank and then we have been contacted by credit card agents to pay due 2 times a month and we explained to them the fraud transaction scenario and they mentioned that they will revert with an update shortly but we didn't get any response even once. We had noticed that from September 2020 they have been debiting a different amount for not paying the amount of fraud transaction from my savings account in the bank.
