[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Insurance policy surrendered and amount still not credited to the account. Policy no.14137516, hdfc life.

I had surrendered this policy on 20.12.14 before lock in period and lock in period was over on 11.1.16. still i have not received credit in my account. Though i have called call centre, not sure when i will get credit in the account. Please expedite with the insurance company. I have logged this complaint, since i have not received amount. just now i got call from person representing as from insurance company... he wanted verification... He asked my account number and i have told him.. Further he is asking my debit card number and i dont understand why they require my debit card number.. Which rule of bank says that debit card no. to be disclosed to insurance company. i cannot disclose my debit card no. anyone.
