HDFC Bank — Irrelevant imposing charges while already sent email for card closing because of recurring charges on lifetime moneyback free card

I am really wonder from hdfc credit card services, first they upgraded my life time money back credit card to money back credit card plus, and suddenly i received july 2023 statement in which they had imposed renewal membership fee 590/- (Ref# 19999999980620999614600) without any intimation before upgrade of moneyback credit card, i decided then go for closure through hdfc credit card website and applied for closure for the same.

I got also one phone call from hdfc representative regarding credit card use on that i said that i am not using anymore because i did not receive any notification and message regarding renewal membership fees before credit card upgradation from moneyback to moneyback plus. On august 15, 2023 i have received new statement in which they increased the charges from 590/- to 1180/- which mean bank is doing irrelvant process, i had not done any purchase before upgrade of my card so i completely disagree and deny all these charges on my card which is not in use. I urge you to handle this matter and notice them because this is totally unacceptable term for any customer.

Hi,

Still I don't have received any positive response from HDFC, I already raised concern on hdfc complaint portal but issue still persist for same concern.
