[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Unauthorized amount deduction from account | |||
Customer id: 62838964 Name: lovish anand Branch: south city 2, gurgaon (Haryana) Account opened as a family (Priority) account with 0 balance facility in feb'16. Bank started deducting penalty for non maintenance of minimum balance of inr 25, 000 however we were informed that only 1 member has to maintain the amount on monthly basis. We maintained a minimum balance of inr 25, 000 through my tagged father's account in the same branch. After numerous visits to the branch, we were informed that the amount was getting deducted because of the nature of account as a general account. We spoke to our relationship manager so many times and was assured that the case will be resolved by march'17. It's july'17 and the case is still not resolved. The most important thing is that the person handling the case is not even forwarding the details of branch manager. I have made up my mind to take legal action in this regard. HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
