[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Unsolicited telemarketing calls for loan | |||
This is the third time HDFC bank has called me asking whether I want a loan, even though I don't have an account with them anymore. I have DND activated on my mobile number. The solution is not to provide people a way to register their number for DNC. The solution is to stop all promotional calls and ask your customers if they would like to have such promotional calls or not. Call them only if they explicitly send you an sms or email or fill up a form agreeing to wanting promotional calls. You're breaking the law already, by calling up people who are registered on DND.
I'm not even your customer and I've never registered or asked for promotional calls.
Instead of sending me a DNC link, just stop calling up all numbers. If people want a loan, they'll approach the branch. Stop wasting people's time people with annoying phone calls!
Again, registering for DNC is NOT a solution.
