I came to know that my saving account has been debited for Rs. 118.00 on 18-Dec-17 towards ADHOC STMT CHGS INCL GST . I don’t remember going to any branch for requesting any statement. Kindly clarify why I have been debited with the above said amount or credit back that money to my account

Today I visited the HDFC bank branch at Kamala mills, Lower Parel to get some information about a call I received from the branch to get some information about my recent transaction on my account. I've been banking with HDFC Bank for more than 11 years and never felt the need to visit the branch whatsoever. I wanted to enquire if my salary account was changed to savings account as there was no salary since Sept'17 to Dec'17 and now I've joined other organisation who has been crediting my salary into the same account since Jan'18. Also there was a cheque deposited on the 12/03/17 for which i did not receive any SMS for clearing of amount. This was a personal transaction being made from by brother to my account to purchase a property.
The staff at this branch are so impartial and lazy to attend the customers query and feel the importance of attending their phone calls and checking their messages. The branch has a board hanging at the front desk for solving queries regarding Account details, cheque book request, statement request and other query. But the staff wants to save time for their leisure activities so they advice the customers to check their statement online for account details and to request for cheque book by calling some number on 18000... . The staff at this branch just kept me pushing from one counter to another as everyone just kept pushing their work on someone else and attending the VIP customers first. If that is the case i think you should not have customers opening salary /saving's account with you if you feel the need to differentiate between customers and their priority.
I could find my query online very well but as i was facing problem resetting my net banking password i had to visit the branch which i'd mentioned while speaking to the relevant staff.This was my first & last experience with the HDFC branch at lower parel. Pathetic staff members, no co-ordination, no manners.
Please suggest if i should close my account with you as my experience for getting less prioritised as you might have the need to attend your VIP customers.
