Hitachi — Faulty Unit and non-delivery of replacement for one month

We had booked a 1.5 ton split ac on the 6th of April 2015.
Full payment was made to Hitachi (Sony Mony Electronics, Borivali, Mumbai).
The product delivered was faulty. However, Hitachi has noted the complaint only on 20th.
This is full two weeks after having made the payment.
Now the whole of April is come to an end and there is no sight of any delivery.
How does Hitachi plan to address this issue? And what compensation can they provide? This is simply unacceptable.
Moreover Hitachi service centre people at Goregaon do not even respond on the number provided ([protected]/[protected]).
