Purchase date - 23rd june 2018 - model no. Hitachi rb500pndg gbk - 2 doors. It stopped working on dated 22nd april 2020 but got the message that due to lockdown it won't support till 4th of may 2020. However, lockdown extended and we struggled with no fridge for almost 60 days.
Now my complaint is after spending 60k for hitachi's best brand fridge, which stopped working under 2 years and there was no instruction by hitachi seller that inverter would create the issue with electricity fluctuation.
Hitachi seller did not explain this point and post-sale service agency is behaving like they don't care about you. They said that it is not my problem it is a sales issue, they would have informed you at the time of sale.
Hitachi field service guy came today 25th may 2020 and he said that pcb has stopped working and has to change it with inr 14k new pcb with a 1-month warranty. It feels like hitachi is selling bad components. We have suffered for 60 days. My mother had cancer and she suffered as well. How to compensate for our suffering.
