[Resolved] Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India [Hhli] — Very poor pathetic service of hitachi window ac, refusal to repair ac in warranty | |||
Hi, When I made my home about 4 years back I purchased Hitachi Air Conditions for my home thinking that Hitachi Home Ac’s are the best as advertised but contrary to my thought it turned out to be night mare for me and now I regret why I purchased Hitachi Ac’s and I tell the same to all whom I know. Since I purchased the AC’s it made horrible sound when it is switched ON as if it is going to burst, I made several complaint of the same but the engineers and technicians could not rectify, finally I accepted that Hitachi AC’s are like that only. Last month one of the AC stopped cooling for which I complained Hitachi Customer care with complaint no [protected] for which the technician from the authorized vendor told that the gas has leaked and the leakage need to be sealed and the gas need to be recharged, I got it done and made payment for the same on 15th May 2017. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THE REPAIR WARRANTY THE PRODUCT FOR SAME PROBLEM FOR THREE MONTHS AND IT SHALL BE REPAIRED WITHOUT ANY CHARGES. To my surprise the AC stopped cooling again within 12 - 15 days for which I complained again the Hitachi Customer with complaint number [protected] subsequent to which technician came to attend the problem from earlier authorized service vendor and told that they need to carry the AC to their service center and finally I was told that there is leakage again and I will need to replace the part which was repaired last time and make payment for the same (I do not know if it is true or just money making business). I resisted and told them that the repair shall be made under warranty if the part was to be replace it shall be told to me in the first instance so that I would have took the decision at first instance only. Finally the vendor returned my AC unrepaired. I escalated my complaint to Manager at manager.[protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 30 May 2017 then to General Manager at jch-india-gm.[protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 31 May 2017 and finally to National Head at head.[protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 31st May 2017 but no response so far even after 8 days. This is the example of worst customer care of a company. To show the company has put the contact to approach the management for redressal of the problem and the management does not even reply. Now even if my complaint is attended my sufferings during peak of the summers will not be undone. Purpose of this mail is to let you know the suffering to me and my family for purchasing Hitachi Ac’s during the peak summers in India when the temperature was at its worst Me and my family will never talk good about Hitachi products and advice all our friends and know not buy Hitachi Products.
