[Resolved] Hitachi India — Faulty A/C installation and pathetic service | |||
I purchased hitachi split ac 1.5 tonne kaze in April'13. Installation was done by Hitachi only. But within a month, water start dripping from front. I registered complaint with Hitachi, technician came and put lots of rags(Cloth pieces) inside AC to stop water dripping problem. Water stopped, but it start giving trouble in cooling. I registered a compliant again, this time new technician came and he was surprised to see so many rags stuffed inside ac due to which cooling was effected and he removed some rags. Now that summer completed. This year in 2014, after using for 2 months, water again start dripping from front. I registered compliant again with Hitachi, this time new technician came and I explained him whole problem which I was facing since last year. He opened AC and found few more rags. He removed them and told me they are not required and put new cloth at one point from where water was dripping. I argued with him that this is not permanent solution and water will start dripping again when cloth will become fully wet. But he didn't listen to me and told me this is the only solution and he can't do anything else. After few hours water start dripping again, he came back and removed cloth and put stuffed some rubber pieces at various places to stop water and claimed it will never happen again. But after one day, water start dripping again, I called him again and he told me there can be some issue in Installation of ac due to which water is dripping from front and installation needs to be done again. I requested to Hitachi customer care so many time that send some experienced technician, but every time a new guy came very young may 16-18 years only and hit and try few things. Now every time they come they ask for money as it has been out of warranty now.Installation has been done by Hitachi, if they have not installed it properly then they should do it again at their cost as I have complaining this from 1st day.They put some temp. fixes under warranty period and then start asking for unreasonable money as soon as warranty period is over. Even customer care is not helpful and they just provide me service center contact no.
