- Date of incident: Pick up for repair by Republic Hyundai on 29.05.2022 with a request for painting of vehicle and repair of AVN system.
- No action till 2nd June 2022, called up to know the estimates, could not provide me estimates and requested that AVN system to be sent to Motrex for estimation.
- No action for next seven days approx, AVN system dispatched to chennai on 9 June 2022.
- Reached Motrex, refused to accept due to non payment of courier charges, enquired at motrex by customer and then one day delay in receiving completed on 17th June 2022.
- Cost of repair of AVN is quoted 34000, new machine cost is 42000, requested for installation of new AVN system of Nippon, could not happen due to mismatch of wiring etc,
- No option left for me but to go ahead and pay Motrex for repair or buy new AVN from Motrex, which is double the cost of Nippon.
- Hyundai promoting Motrex monopoly and not providing option for replacement and forcing customers like me to pay exorbitant price to Motrex, (Monopolistic trade promoted by Hyundai)
- Hyundai local manager Mr. Jitendra does not have any suitable redressal and just casually said will get back and try to reduce cost of Motrex repair.

- vehicle still lying at republic Hyundai, rest work completed but AVN issues yet to be resolve, Hyundai India to stop such promotion of monopolistic spare part provider and pay compensation for loss @ 2500 per day for the number of days of vehicle is stranded at republic Hyundai. customer has to hire a vehicle for these number of days for movement.
