I have rented a flat, at the time of renting, flat was not completed some work was pending, and we decided for 20000/- pm as rent. As society was new flat was not having permanent BBMP electricity connection, so there is no electricity is charged by builder, and while my stay remaining flat work is completed, which result in wall painting damages, but didn't re-painted by landlord.
I requested multiple times for signed Agreement copy from landlord but didn't received any copy, i stayed 14 month there in that flat, while vacating that flat landlord has deducted 1 month for painting & cleaning purpose and deducted 10k as electricity charges without giving any bill or usage information, when asked he said deducting amount just in case builder demands the electricity charges he'll refund after confirmation from builder. but it has been 1 year there is no ask from builder for electricity changes, but my landlord is refusing to return the deducted money.
