House Owner details:
D.Krishnappa, Ho.No:11, 6th cross, Devansandra, K.R.PURAM, Bangalore – 560036.
I was in search of house for rent during COVID-19 pandemic period and found a three storied building with 12 portions located at site no: 3, 6th cross, Kuvempu layout, H.P.Gas Agency office back side, Devasandra, K.R.PURAM, Bangalore – 560036, out of 12 portions, there were only 4 portions were occupied and remaining are vacant. The name of the House I gave the initial advance Rs. 10, 000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) for one of the double bedroom portions on 8th Jul 2020 to consider the House joining commitment from August onwards with a security deposit or house advance Rs. 80, 000/- (Eighty Thousand) and 12, 000/- per month rent. House Owner demanded to pay at least Rs. 50, 000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) in a week time to confirm the portion. We took a week time and paid Rs. 40, 000/- on 11th Jul 2020.
We took the allotted portion key on 25th Jul 2020 to clean the house to join from 1st Aug 2020 and returned to the house owner in two days of time.
It was unfortunate that my project was ending, and company informed that I might be on non-billable pay roll if I don’t project in 15 to 30 days of time.
Due to the uncertainty of my job during Pandemic situation, I decided to take shelter at my cousin brother’s house until my financial situation becomes stable.
I informed the same to house owner and handed over the keys on 27th Jul 2020, and the house owner agreed to return the advance, but he informed that he had given our advance to some other tent to whom house had to give.
House owner promised us to return the advance if any tenant occupies the vacant portion. We waited for a month, met personally and called many times for the advance to return. He was informing us that most of the portions were still vacant and hence he can’t return advance until he gets advance from any of the new tenants.
He stopped picking up the calls, recently when I went to home to meet him, and he was at home, speaking that will not return advance.
Now, it has been more than 15 months and yet not returned the advance amount.
I have all the necessary house advance paid transaction details, attached for your reference.
