I purchased one hp ink tank 319 printer on 22 april 2019 from a reseller in laxmi nagar, delhi, india vide invoic number 526 of the same date. It was running quite well when one day in november, i got an error. It was a printhead error. I complained for the same to hp customer care. They sent their executive, but when the executive visited my premises, the printer started working fine and he didn't need to do anything.
But, after some days, 3 december, to be precise, the same problem occurred again. As i had to go out of station on an emergency, i contacted the customer care monday, 9 december 2019 to lodge the complaint. To my surprise, they told that the printer was out of warranty. When i informed them about the purchase date, they asked me to mail the copy of the invoice along with the bar code on the printer. I mailed them the required details.
After a day, i received the call from customer care asking if the printer was exchanged to which i told them in negative. The customer care people asked me to contact the dealer and question him if it was an exchanged printer. I tried to contact the dealer, but i didn't get any positive response,
My question is why should i suffer for anything like this when i have purchased an hp product on a genuine invoice.
But the customer care people are insisting that i ask the dealer to contact hp.
