I have purchased my laptop (Hp) from the reliance digital store hyderabad in the month of february.
And after seven months the laptop started giving me
Performance issues.
To be more precise the hard disk got crashed (Short dst failed). I immediately went back to reliance digital store but they denied to take the ownership and asked to contact the hp service center directly.
When i called the hp customer care to complain about the issue, they have created a complaint request i. E [protected]. And informed that technician would come and fix the issue as it is under warranty.
Today the technician came and just replaced the old hard disk with the new hard disk. When i have asked for the data recovery he said it is not possible from his end. When i asked him to provide me the old hard disk so that i can retrieve the data from my end because the data in my laptop was very important to me but the technician denied to give the hard disk as he has to submit it in the service center. Apart from this i am informed by technician that there is no os in my laptop and to get the os i have to again connect with hp customer care.
I again called back to customer care and asked them about os which the technician has advised me to do so. The customer care then sent a mail for installing the os. And to do that we need to have 32gb pendrive itseems. When i said that i don't have a pendrive they said they would be sending a hp one free of cost as this is under warranty but the courier charges (I. E it would be deliver via blue dart) has to be paid from my end. When i just checked the amount they have sent me over mail it is 1, 137.52.
I am seriously not understanding what the reliability of the product is
And when it happened in the warranty why each and every activity driving to the resolution is becoming my head ache. Why is it so?
And i really don't want to use this faulty product with a low performance which got failed within 7 months of the product purchase.
When i have requested them to replace or exchange the faulty product, being ready to bear the additional charges in purchase of a upgraded version they have been refusing from the time i had raised the complaint request.
Instead asking me to do the multiple activities involving in the resolution of the issue with no complete support from their end.
I want the replacement /exhange of this faulty product.
