I own an HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer. After exactly 1 year from my purchase date, it started giving Print Head error for Color one.! I took it to the HP authorised service centre. I had to pay almost 25% of the cost of the printer (Rs.2500 approx) to replace my printer head.! You can not replace only Color head, as it comes in bundle. Though there was no issue with Black head, I had to pay for both.!! Also Service Centre denied to return my original Print Heads.!!
Print Head comes with a 90 days warranty. Exactly after 90 days of my replacement, again it started giving the same Print Head error.!! Really don't understand why it starts giving trouble post warranty. Again I took it to the Service centre, they asked me to pay the same amount to replace the Print head again.! Really frustrating to pay Rs.2500 every 3 months for a print head. !!
I don't understand whether it's an issue with Print head or Service centre. When I called up customer care, they said it might be issue with something else and not the Print Head.! Also Customer service did not find any record of my Print head in the system when I replaced it 3 months ago!!. I have the official Receipt as well.
Really really frustrating experience with HP Ink tank printer. I registered with Case # [protected], but after a week even no reply or call from HP.
