Hypercity — Dual Transactions made using my debit card | |||
I purchased Hypercity Gift Vouchers worth 2400/- and made payment for the same using my debit card on 4/Jan/2017. As soon as my debit card was swiped I received a message stating 2400/- rupees have been debited from my account but the person who did this transaction informed me that the transaction was not successful and I will have to pay again. It was Libin who messed up everything, I clearly told him that I have received the confirmation of deduction but he was adamant and did not agree. He forced me to pay again, hence there were two transactions made. I was told by Libin that the first transaction was not successful, his team will check and call me back the next day. This did not happen, I did not receive any call back. I went to Hypercity the next day, spoke to Libin, he had no proper reason as to why I did not receive a call from them. He informed me that they are still not sure as to what went wrong and that I will have to wait one more day and someone will call me back the next day. I received a call from Finance Manager the next day informing me that they have received the confirmation that there were two transactions made and both were successful and then he said they will send an email to the bank and there will be a reversal of one transaction within two days. Though I was in need of money I was made to wait again, I waited for two days and then called bank to check about this. To my shock I was informed that they not received any such notification and there is no pending credit amount against my account. I had to pay for this call which was made to the bank. This made me furious and I decided to go back again for the 3rd time. I was made to wait, though it was my money taken from my account for almost for 5 days I had to wait for someone to come and talk to me. It was one of the horrible customer experience I ever had in my life. On Monday around 8:00 PM I spoke to the Managers there and got my money back as cash. All in all this could have been dealt in a professional manner but the way your team dealt with was horrendous, horrible, pathetic and that's an understatement!! - Unhappy Customer who will never wish to visit Hypercity outlet again...
