I had purchased apparels during the recent sales discount offer at HYPERCITY. There were few line items (circled) wherein the final amount after discounting did not tallied. The other line item after discounting tallied. Even though the MRP for all the line item mentioned - inclusive of tax, the particular line item circled there was VAT levied after discounting. On inquiring with their representative Mr. Rajkumar ([protected]) at their outlet in Vashi - INORBIT. I was told that for certain discounted item the VAT is different. If whatever the representative stated is true then I need to know if the Retail Outlet is supposed to misguide the customer without mentioning the same in the MRP /Tag. Regards Shashikumar [protected]
