Hyundai Motor India — Dealer forcing to take the insurance provided by the showroom itself

I have booked for the hyundia Venue 1.2l petrol.have made the full down payment.and now I don't need insurance as I'm getting it from outside more at a lower cost than the showroom is providing.when I asked the general manger to eliminate the insurance amount he said it is mandatory.. I really want to kno from hyundia that is it mandatory?.
I requested him that I don't want your insurance u jus deduct the amount, then the dealer said that insurance is mandatory and we don't give cars without insurance.
I want to have a survey on this as they are fooling the customers by taking the advantage of mandatory insurance.

I even had a discussion on the handling charges which the customer needs to pay. He said even that amount will not be eliminated
