Dear Team, Hyundai
Xcent was booked on 29
March 2014 with Spring Hyundai EM Byepass Kolkata (Dealer). Was told by the dealer at the
time of booking that delivery would be made within a month (end April 2014). It
was also agreed that I would exchange my old car against the new car prior to
delivery. I made part payment of the new car in April 2014. I waited for a
month but the car was not delivered. I discussed with the Dealer and was
informed that the car would now be delivered by end of May 2014 (without citing
any potent reason for late delivery). Again I waited. Later, in mid May 2014, I
made balance full payment and also gave my old car to Hyundai dealer. On
speaking with the Dealer on 29 May 2014, I was informed that the delivery which
was expected on 25 May 2014 would now be made in June 2014 first week. Is this
what Hyundai, the leading car manufacturer in India, calls commitment?? Hyundai
/ Dealer is a cheat making false commitment taking advance money and not
delivering product on time. I have suffered loss of interest income on the
payment which have already been made to dealer. Further, in the absence of my
old car, I am unnecessary spending money on a daily basis on cab hire. I want
to be compensated for the same till I get the delivery of my new car. Was this information helpful? |
