i-Ball — Irresponsibility shown by service centre in repairing the phone

I have bought an i-ball avonte -5 8gb espresso brown. It hanged a lot and for the solution, i took it to a local service center of i-ball. My phone was under waranty. They kept the phone for more than 25 days and finally pulled their hands back and said to sell the phone for 2000/- and buy a new phone. What the hell is this? My phone is under waranty, so why would i sell it? How can somebody be so irresponsible? The company must repair my phone if possible or otherwise replace it, or else i am going to complain this issue to the consumer court.
