[Resolved]  Icici Lombard — Harassment from ICICI Lombard and ridiculous reason mentioned for rejection

Dear Sir,

I am writing this email to your department only after feeling very helpless and getting traumatized with the behaviour of my health insurer - ICIC Lomabard. Below mentioned are my policy details with the same. My wife recently got diagnosed with optic neuritis issue after taking the first dosage of vaccination and from then she's been getting treated under the super vision of Dr.Sujith at Apollo Hospital - Sheshadripuram- Bangalore. She had to undergo multiple stages of treatment because of the severity of the issue and the re occurrence of the problem with in short period of time. Everytime I try to claim my insurance amount, the ICICI lombard has created issues and it was never a smooth process which they claim on their website. There is no proper response from them and every time we had to go through a lot of trouble to get the approvals. When ever we try to explain our problem to the customer relation ship person on customer care, we get treated very badly and this entire process has disturbed me personally and professionally.

Yesterday[protected] my wife got admitted again for a treatment prescribed by Dr.Sujith from Apollo Sheshadripuram, when we applied for a pre auth, the insurer rejected the claim completely by mentioning the MOU reason between the hospital and the insurer, which was never ever informed to me as a client. This is a continuous treatment and we got admitted multiple times and also the same insurer approved all those bills. All of a sudden they have changed the process and neither I or the hospital was not informed. When approached them for a solution and tried to reach them multiple times, we were treated very badly and they are expecting us to make the payment first and check out from the hospital. The patient ( my wife is under severe pressure and she cannot take any uncertainties like this because of the neural issue which is facing right now. T

I really appreciate if you can consider this email on priority and help us get out of this traumatic situation. I am sure there are 1000's of customers like me who are facing issues with the ICICI lombard insurer.

Attached the current bill which is pending and the previous similar bill which got approved by the insurer.

Also attached the declaration given by the Apollo hospital that they were not intimated by the insurer in regards to the changes which are done by the insurer.

The issue is between the insurer and the hospital but me as a client who paid the premium to avoid these kind of situations is in a big trouble right now.

I really appreciate and hope that at least you will take this case seriously and get me the required compensation for the trauma which me and my wife is going through because of the irresponsible and monopoly behaviour of the insurer.

Because of this pressure, even I couldn't handle to my client queries and loosing focus on them which resulted in Rs.10, 000, 000 worth of loss from the business side for me. I definitely need this to be compensated by the Insurer.
