ICICI Lombard Insurance Company — I am complaining about rejected motor claim for a silly reason | |||||
Hello... I am Swarna.. staying in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. These ICICI Lombard people literally cheated me.. As I brought my new vehicle(Hero Pleasure) on 15.5.2015 it was theft on 21.5.2015. one of my key was unfounded from the 2nd day of the purchase of the vehicle. so i started using 2nd key from the next day.. I got the FIR.. Final Report and all submitted to the insurance people. When Surveyor(Mr.Srinivas) came to my home he asked what exactly happend so i explained each and everything that 1 key was unfounded from the 2nd day then after few days it was theft.. As i dont know anythng about these claims process and statements etc.. i asked surveyor to help me out to write the statement. so dictated and i was written... he dictated like vehicle theft along with the key.. i said "NO SIR, vehicle didnt theft along with key, key was unfounded from the 2nd day.. even though he said.. no problem.. u can write like this also.. As i am new for this process and all i wrote the same thing as dictated by Surveyor(Mr.Srinivas). I spoke to customer care for 3 times. When i called Customer care for the 1st time i didnt explain the whole thing i just said that VEHICLE AND KEY ARE THEFT but i didnt said VEHICLE THEFT ALONG WITH KEY.. But when i spoke to 2nd and 3rd time i explained the whole thing that key was unfounded from the 2nd day.. After few days they have taken another statement in which i have elaborated about what exactly happened. Now these Insurance people are rejected the claim only because of that 1st statement(which dictacted by surveyor) and 1st recording. Then what about the 2nd statement??? What about the remaining recordings with customer care???? what about the statement which i told by words to surveyor????? they cheated me.. and simply rejected the claim.. That surveyor wantedly dictated that statement to reject my claim as i am new to insurance process.. Now i am suffering with the loss and these finance people to pay the remaining amount..
