ICICI Lombard — Unfair Rejection of Valid Home Insurance Claim Requesting Intervention

My home insurance claim (MSC[protected] under Policy No. 4119/CHP/[protected]/00 was rejected by ICICI Lombard on false grounds despite being fully covered under the policy (flood, heavy rain, water ingress).

The surprising part is that ICICI Lombard already approved and settled my other home claim arising from the same incident (Claim No. MSC[protected] for ₹4, 31, 275). Rejecting one claim while settling the other from the same peril is discriminatory and unfair.

The surveyor demanded irrelevant documents multiple times (SDRF/NDRF register, SOR-based estimate, contractor payment proof) which are NOT required under the policy and violate IRDAI Regulation 9(5).
He also threatened to close the claim in 3 days, which is against IRDAI Surveyor Regulations.

I request urgent intervention to reopen and fairly settle my claim as per policy terms.
