Subject policy was surrendered and completed the lock in period of 5 Years on 24-Dec-23. Since then, I am regular contact with Back office and Customer care for repayment on my NRE Saving account. Today is 10-Jan-2024 and I have following experiences to highlight:
1 Back office and Customer care are not aligned
2 they claim that repayment was made on 26th but account was frozen.
3 they issued a cheque to my domestic address without even informing the proposer.
4 lack of experience in their team to handle NRE customers.
5 asking different documents at different times
6 asking for unmasked bank statements which is not a safe practice
7 even Today, there is no clarify when the repayment will be made
8 take a note that frozen account in ICICI Pru life record is the active NRE account with ICICI Bank so again there is no alignment between two divisions but policy was purchased at ICICI Bank branch only.
9) back office claim to reach me on mobile phone but I haven't been contacted till date
I am loosing my sleep since the fund is big and repayment is still not assured. Also, policy was surrendered in 2nd year itself so my funds were placed in Discontinuation Funds where also I lost opportunity to grow my investments.
I strongly request ICICI Pru Life Customer Service team to fast track my repayment and also pay out interest on capital for duration 25-Dec to date of actual repayment.
