[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Disconnect number for 2 days

Hello, I am Nijoe Varkey Using idea #[protected]. I had port my number from BSNL to idea in a view that idea has good service. And it all gone now. I was using 399 plan with idea and i approached Idea Vytila corporate office on 25th June to change my plan to 299 Bright as it is a CUG plan using my colleagues. After i explained my request they have asked me to pay all outstanding bill plus few days advance in pro rata basis and submit new application form along with my address proof and official id card.I have submitted same. They have told me that with in 2 days my existing connection will disconnect and an with in 2 hrs i will get new connection in 299 bright plan. But i didn't happen after 2 days. On second july 2015 my existing connection got disconnected, but new one not get activated. After calling customer care many time i got the reply that it will be ready by 4th July as that is their dead line (48 hrs) At last my sim got connected on 4th July, with a plan which has selected by Idea employee not by my request. Currently i am under 249 plan. Which was not my request. Please answer my below queries? 1 . I was asked for 299 bright corporate plan, why i got 249 plan? 2. For changing plan from 399 to 249 why i need new sim? even i can do it online? 3. For just changing a plan why my connection got disconnected for 2 days ? 4. If it is not possible why it was not informed me ? 5. Why idea collected my Official id proof?
