[Resolved] Idea Cellular — disconnection request ignored for 8 months

I had requested the costumer care to disconnect all my packs last year on 2nd august, 2017 before i was leaving for us. This request of mine was ignored and the packs are still active after 8 months. I have paid my bill regularly until december 2017, even though i have not used my services because i was not in country. I was india from 7th january 2018 till 2nd feb, 2018. I have come back from us after two months and my phone is disconnected due to non payment of my bill. I feel cheated because when i asked to disconnect my packs and after not using it i am being charged for it for 8 months, this is plain cheating. Please acknowledge my request.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. As per our record, the request for packs deactivation was raised during the given duration under ref. no. C1-[protected] and the same has been completed on 02/Aug/2017. Also, we would like to inform you that the bills has been generated accordingly as per your plan, pack and usage charges for the mentioned number. However, your previous bills were pending with us due to which your amount was carried forward and the same kept on adding to your current bill. Hence, we request you to kindly clear all your dues to avoid the inconvenience and we suggest you to check your bills for further clarification. For further assistance, kindly contact us on 12345 or 198.
