[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — excessive bill charged for the no-[protected] for month of january 2018

Hi

I have talked to your representative thrice on the subject making grievance that the bill has been charged on very high side while i am having almost every facility unlimited. I am told that bill is on higher side because of excessive sms usage, in this connection i would like to bring into your kind notice that i sent sms only 4 or 5 times during the complete month of jan and that too less than hundred persons at a single time. But i note that the sms sent by me to less than hundred persons has been counted exorbitantly (4 or 5 times).

It is also pertinent to mention that no alert or warning is sent by your company in case the limit of daily100 sms is about to reach or over. As such, this is only because of fault in your system which traps the customer for higher bill for want of necessary alert or warning. Had i received the required alert, i would not have crossed the daily limit of 100 sms per day and hence the bill could not have been generated this much high.

You will appreciate that i am already having internet facility which is never consumed. I am also using whatsapp which is in a way unlimited sms facility.
Hence there is no wisdom in using sms beyond the prescribed daily limit and pay the high bill. The generation of high bill has resulted only because of the fault on the part of your company by not providing alert or warning. On the other hand you are always giving alerts about the internet data usage which enables customer to know his limit o[censored]sage and stops him to cross the limit.

Few months earlier also i had to pay the high bill because of the same problem as i was not given sms alert. This bill has been generated on higher side only because of sms charges and gst charge there upon. Since the bill has been generated on the higher side because of the fault of your company, i am not liable to pay the same. I, therefore, request you to make necessary correction in the bill and waive all the amount of sms charges and gst charges there upon so that i may not be victim of your mistake.

After not receiving any response for more than a week i sent gentle reminder again to the same mail id on feb 19 which is as follows:

Dear sir,

Please take reference of my mail dated 11.02.2018 on the subject which is still not responded. I have received neither any call nor mail in the matter. The date for payment of bill is approaching near and hence, i request you to redress my grievance at the earliest.

Request you to look into the problem asap and resolve it at earliest
