[Resolved] Idea Cellular — idea cellular feature charges applied in the bill

Request for deactivation of data service using 1925 stop was sent on 11 may 2018 for which acknowledgement message was also received. (Refer attachment). But idea did not process the deactivation request as committed in 1925 message and is now charging 100 rs in the bill generated on 9th june. This is fraud. They are saying that they did not deactivate the data pack on 11May as per the 1925 STOP request. So I will have to pay 100 Rs extra. Why should I pay 100 Rs for mistake by idea team? I had timely sent deactivation notice.I did not use the internet service . Even if by mistake the mobile data was turned on, it was with the assumption that IDEA will be charging me for the local usage and not as per the 100 Rs data plan. This is pure fraud by IDEA. Verified Support Jul 20, 2018 Idea Cellular Customer Care's response Dear Customer, Apologies for the inconvenience caused. As per our record, we have passed the waiver of Rs.118/- with G.S.T for GPRS usage in the month of June 2018 as on 23/06/18 for mentioned number. Regards, Neha
