I'd like to submit a complaint against idea cellular. I have a post paid connection with idea and had submitted a request to activate international roaming for australia in the end of jan. I was asked to deposit a refundable deposit of rs 3700 at the time to activate international roaming for australia which i did at the time, at idea store in indore.in mid feb, i received a bill which included rs 5000 pack for international roaming and since then i have spoken to idea innumerable times, requesting them to correct my bill as i never requested for rs 5000 pack. During a recent call to their customer care, i was told that they had charged rs 5000 in my bill incorrectly as it was supposed to be rs 2499 for australia international roaming plan but they advised that i had to write to idea nodal office () for correcting the bill, as customer care did not have the authorization to reverse the charges. Despite several reminders on e-mails, i have not received the corrected bill.in addition, i'm being harassed by idea as they have deactivated my number for nearly 4 weeks now due to non payment of the bill - which i obviously can't pay until a corrected bill amount is shared with me.
