I requested for change of plan to rs. 649/- on 6th of sep as advised by customer care, as plan change can only happen on first day of billing cycle.
This has unlimited internet plan. My earlier plan was rs. 499/- which also has unlimited internet plan.
When i got bill in the month of oct, i got rs. 175/- extra amount subject to prorated data charge. Customer care over phone said that this is for data usage from 6-sep-2017 12:00 am till the plan got changed on the same day.
Idea does not allow to change plan on any other date other than first day of billing cycle.
My earlier plan and current plan both has unlimited data plan (And lots of data balance left).
Why this kind of false billing done and above all, customer care is very arrogant for not reversing this.
I starting advising people not to use idea. I discontinued my one number last month because of such customer care arrogance. Was this information helpful? |
