[Resolved] Idea Cellular — my request for postpaid to prepaid is cancelled every time | |||
I was using postpaid plan in idea and decided to change it to prepaid. So on 15th of this month when the bill was generated i went to idea store and lodged the request. They took the bill amount plus they said it will take 7 days to process so i will have to pay 114 more for 7 days. On 19th i received a sms stating that my request has been closed due to outstanding balance. I called customer care and they said to don't worry your money as we can see 114 rs is unpaid. Then again on 23rd i received sms for cancellation of my request. I went to idea store this time and the person there said that 30 rs you will again has to pay as your 7 days are over and for next 3 days it will again take to process and this time he said your request will be processed. Now today i again received a sms stating my request has been cancelled due to outstanding amount. I called customer care and talked to senior executive and she says you will have to pay from 15th to 26th as it will take more time to process. Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Sep 27, 2017 Idea Cellular Customer Care's response Dear Customer, We want to inform you that there was some outstanding amount was remaning in your account due to which your port request was getting cancelled. Still you want to generate the UPC code, type PORT <> your number and send it to 1900. Request you to send us the complete store details with whom you have faced the issue so we can look into it.
