[Resolved] Idea Cellular — postpaid migration to prepaid, number not activated even after 8 days

I have opted for migration of my postpaid idea number [protected] to prepaid and submitted a request for the same on the 4th of oct. 2017. I received a mail with id c1-[protected] confirming the same on the 4th of oct. 2017. I visited the nearest samriddhi myidea gallery in panvel for the same and they provided me with a prepaid sim and confirmed that by 7th of oct. 2017 the process will be complete. My connection had been disconnected for the same. On monday the 9th of oct. 2017 i visited the gallery to know about the status, i have been told that the number is not yet activated and the issue will be resolved and number will be active by day end. On the 10th also the same thing repeated, the number not yet activated and that due to some server issue the number is not activated but will be done by 11th of oct. 2017. When again i visited on the 11th of oct. The same thing repeated, number not activated will be done by 12th of oct. I just wanted to know how long does it take for a number to migrated from postpaid to prepaid in the same service provider. When ported it is done with the number being out of service for a maximum of 4 hours. It seems that your people are not keen on retaining the customers and so they are harassing in this way. Had i known that this would happen then i would have definitely ported to some other service provider
