[Resolved]  Idea — Misleading The Customers, Adding Extra Amounts In The Bill

I subscribed to Idea AP as i moved to Hyderabad. After all the services got activated, i subscribed to a 300 MB(for INR 100) 3G plan. I took this plan on 23rd or i guess 24th of April. It turns out these plans are on pro rata basis, so i was only allocated some 70-80 MB data for use as their were only 7-8 days in the month left. But nary they told me about their pro rata policy. I also made an enquiry call and their customer care executive didn't tell me about pro rata policy explicitly(which he ought to). And nowhere in the process of subscribing to this plan have i seen the word 'pro rata' mentioned. So i started using this plan thinking i had 300 MB of 3G data for use till 30th. So in the final bill they added INR 596 for the data that i used after finishing my 70-80 MB quota. I can ignore this as an error on their part and can simply move on if they deduct this amount from the final bill. But they did something for which i think they deserve to undergo criminal proceedings. They just kept sending me messages saying that i had full 300 MB data for use(seems more like a tactic to loot money from consumers). Now refer to the photo proof i attached. They sent me this message saying that i still had 86 MB of data left after i had used 213 MB of data(when acc. to their policy i was only eligible for 70-80 MB of data and the rest of 143-133 MB data i used was actually being charged for). So when they were actually charging me for every extra 10 KB, they made sure that i remain unaware of their stupid, money looting policies by sending me these misleading texts. I made several calls to them, registering my complaint multiple times to different representatives over and over again, everyone of which assured me that the issue will be solved in few hours and none of these people got back to me later. And now today is 16, if i don't pay their bill today they'll add some even more amount in the bill on account of late charges. This was my first experience with Idea and trust me they are a terrible telecom services provider. Even the overall experience of their services(speed, connection, network strength) has been much worse compared to their counterparts like Vodafone and Airtel. Now this is my final request to Idea people, please deduct that additional charge for data usage. I'll just walk to the consumer court if your people called me asking me to pay the bill.

OMG what language you people understand. Yes, you charged me according to your policies, but you didn't freaking explain your policies anywhere in the whole process. Tell me if you charge on pro rata basis, how can you send messages like this to anyone?
