I had lodged a complaint with the centre for my ifb digital 7 lit washing machine for a leaking door gasket.
They promised to resolve the problem within a couple of days. However, the technician took away our old gasket and did not return with a new gasket for over 4 days.
Then someone called rajen from the service centre (Cell no [protected]) said he would oblige me by fitting an old gasket temporarily and replace it with the new gasket as early as possible.
The technician replaced the used gasket and charged us inr 4800/- in advance for the new gasket.
The new gasket was not fitted for over a week thereafter. On repeatedly calling rajen and demanding an explanation for the delay, he started giving excuses and would only ask for more time as he said the delay was from the company's side.
When i got fed up of calling the service station repeatedly, i insisted that they pay back my money they had fraudulently collected in advance for the new gasket.
On this, this rajen got wild and started talking unprofessionally to me. I however insisted that i wanted my money back & would only pay it when i get the new gasket. To this he said he will take the old temporary gasket away and fit my original torn gasket and cancel the order he had placed with the company.
His intention, therefore was not to help me out,, but to hold me to ransom by offering to fix the used gasket as a stop gap to extort money from me on the pretext of ordering a new gasket. Was this information helpful? |
