[Resolved]  IFB — Ifb ac not working, quality of service is even worst

Hi,

My IFB customer ID is 3345281.

I bought an IFB AC about a month back. It never cools as normally ACs do. I thought it to be because of temparature soaring to 45+ degrees.

But it wasnt the case. As the temparature dropped to 40s and 30s, it got worse with time. Now it never cools during the daytime. During night, it cools to the extent that i do not feel hot. Does an AC works like that??

I registered a complaint. The person only visited once. At the second complaint, he did not came by himself but instead sent some non authorized person to look into the issue( by chance he also sent the same non authorized person to install the AC).

They say we have a voltage problem inspite of the fact that my voltage never goes below 200volts and the service person observed it by himself. what i observed is that my external unit heats up within 5mins of starting my AC. but AC never starts up.

Guess my external unit has a manufacturing defect. i want it to be changed. should i appeal to the consumer court?

i am very much disgusted with IFBs performance and their service. The customer care people never care call and follow up.

What should i do?

How is it possible without anyboby even visiting my place.

Really disgusting to see IFB behaving like this.

Hi IFB,

As told, we have changed our stabilizer equipment. But the only change I observed is that ac isin't tripping anymore. The cooling hasn’t improved a bit.

With the rise in temperature (to 35degrees only !), the cooling remains the same, i.e. at minimum temperature it cools just enough that we don’t feel heat (and this is at 35degrees outside!).

Request you to address the issue.
