On 25.10.2008 i bought a neptune dishwasher from ifb. After its warranty was over, he jamshedpur office of ifb approached me for buying amc. Since then i have been renewing my amc regularly. The last amc was valid till 31.05.2019.
However, this year the ifb office did not directly approach me for amc. Instead, i got an sms on my registered mobile saying: "your ifb product's amc is expiring this month! Enjoy 10% discount on annual maintenance contract. Reply amc24 to [protected] to grab this offer."
I promptly sent the required sms to the above number.
However, nothing happened after that. When i approached local ifb office, i was told that from 2018 ifb has discontinued amc of neptune diswasher.
My question is how can a reputed company like ifb discontinue maintenance support for a regular product like a washing machine for its loyal customers "without prior notice"
Also, in the event, how can the company then send false sms to a customer to renew amc.
On 22 junw 2019, ifb customer care remarked against above complaint that they would contact me. On 26 june 2019 ifb closed the complaint.
However till today 08 august, 2019, ifb customer care has not contacted me. My diswasher is broken down and i am unable to do anything about it.
