IFB's back to the square one...
Two years after my first dishwasher was replaced by IFB, I am in the same situation again.
The Machine works wonderfully when it's in working conditions but the moment you face any technical issues, you feel like throwing it out of your window...
IFB technicians are not trained enough to repair the machine.
This time the problem is with the rinse aid dispenser.
The first complaint was registered on the 5th of April 2017 on the Customercare number[protected] when I realised that my machine was leaking the rinse aid and I needed to refill it daily. All my utensils turned white due to lack of rinse aid.
No one contacted us for more than 24 hours and I had to call back to the service centre to remind them about the complaint.
The technician visited us on the 7th of April 2017, checked the machine, filled in rinse aid in the dispenser and realised that the light indicating rinse aid refill was still on indicating that dispenser is empty.
He tried opening the panel to fix the problem but could not fix it.
Then he cleaned the machine manually and ran cycle of 60 minutes. On completion of the cycle he told my husband that the problem is solved, ignore the rinse aid indicator, the machine is ready to use. It will take some time for the utensils to come back to normal.
We tried using machine for a week and realised that the problem was not solved.
I contacted the customer care again on the 17th of April 2017
The technician came to us on the 20th of April 2017 to change the part. He changed the part, charged us Rs. 1947 and said that the problem is solved. The receipt was not filled in properly, in place of the part name the technician wrote the name of the firm.
After so called change of the part the problem got worsened, the rinse aid leakage increased drastically. We could see the rinse aid leaking faster than earlier.
The Customercare centre was contacted again on the 25th of April, around 11.50 AM. This time the experience with the service centre was unsatisfactory, and I had to speak to the floor Incharge Mr. Ashok. He promised me that the technician would reach us at the earliest.
We did not receive any response till the 29th April 2017 and we had to call the Customercare centre again, I spoke to Me. Ashok and Floor supervisor Mr. Ali. Mr. Ashok tried to connect me to Mr. Senthil the service centre Incharge in Bangalore, who was clue less about the issue.
Mr. Senthil promised that the technician would visit us the same day. But no one turned up. The Customercare centre was contacted again on the 30th April 2017 and the call was attended by Ms. Priyanka. We were told the technician would visit us on Monday, the 1st May 2017. No one visited us till Tuesday.
We are being told that the machine can't be repaired at home and needs to be taken to the service centre. Every day the team promises to come and take the machine for servicing but no one turns up.
Currently, the machine is in not working condition, utensils are spoilt, we have been paying extra money to the house helper.
Today's status: spoke to Ma. Suma from the Customercare centre who was reluctant to transfer my call to Mr. Ashok or Mr Ali and suggested me to talk to Mr. Nagesh Incharge of the service centre. When I refused to speak to any new person any more my call was transferred to Mr. Ali, who was unaware of the current status of the complaint and told me that he can't promise me any thing today, as it's a Sunday.
