[Resolved] IFB Industries — Microwave - complaint is about after sales service | |||||
I had purchased IFB microwave (Model:20BC4), and within 2 use the machine stopped working, called up the customer care they informed that the service engineer will be assigned and it would be rectified, and when asked for complaint number was told that you will receive an SMS with all the information, however nothing happened for next 2 weeks, so i followed up once again and i was told that due to chennai flood situation we are not able to attend to the service but the engineer and my location were not at all effected by the floods, and also i was asked to quote a complaint number which i did not receive, So a new complaint was raised and post 3 days an engineer calls to ask for the address, and then turns up after 2 weeks, he checks the machine and says that a trip switch is gone and has to be replaced and goes away and again no response until we follow up with him after a week and he comes back to check once again and says the circuit board is gone and needs to be replaced, so he dismantles and takes the board along with him and then again no response for about 3 weeks until we follow up for an update, he then comes after a week of follow up with a packet and then says sorry the board dispatched is different model and hence goes back and it has been about 1 week and we have not had any response until we follow up to be informed that it would take time for the correct part to be received, so we are still waiting for the machine to be rectified, not sure when this will be sorted out. Firstly the product is not good and to top it over the service is very pathetic. I advise each and every person planning to buy any IFB products to think twice before going for it and if my suggestion is sought will say never go for it. Was this information helpful? | |||||
