I have this ifb executive elite front loading 5kg washing machine. After several years of good service, one day it tripped the mcb during f cycle. Called ifb customer service, within 2 days the service engineer turned up and told me that due to internal water leakage the short his happening and in turn tripping the mcb. He later asked us to replace the pump and suspension since it got damaged due to the leakage. He also suggested cleaning powder. Overall charged 5k for the repair, since it was almost 10 years, i didnt worry much to bear the repair cost. Later he suggested to go for amc since it covers all repairs and spare parts. I took 1year amc for 3200. Everything seem to be working fine for few months. Later the same problem started to reappear. This time the customer support is worst and even after 3months they haven't addressed the issue. They keep closing the issue ticket without even checking it. So far i have raised 4 tickets ([protected] 7june17, [protected] 9july17, [protected] 29aug17, [protected] 2oct17) to resolve the issue. Escalated the issue to their coordinator and manager. But nothing moved. Finally decided to replace it with new washing machine. But this time either lg or bosch. Once you take amc they stop caring for you. Was this information helpful? |
