IFB — installation of washing machine | |||
I purchased an ifb front loading washing machine from flipkart and it was delivered to me on 25.4.15.Due to lack of coordination between flipkart and ifb, the machine could not be installed within stipulated time i.e.48 hrs.then on 29.4.15 I registered my complaint to ifb customer care directly and since then I have made several calls to ifb customer care but Iam still awaiting the installation of machine It has been almost a week.Shall I aproach consumer court as ifb customer care is useless and Iam not able to understand what to do. Sub : Installation of washing machine – reg.
I had purchased a washing machine (Model Elina Aqua DX) from Kerala Police Canteen on 28.05.2015 and had registered on the same day (Thursday) itself. I got the confirmation message along with intimation that they will attend within 24 hours. M/s. Karthik India Company called me for an appointment on Friday at 3.00 pm, for installation of the machine at my home. I left my college and waited for the technician from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm, at Valikkode junction near Nedumangad, but no one turn up. On repeated calls made to the company, I was intimated that the technician is on his way and asked me to wait. But he did not turn up for installation till 8.00 pm on Friday ( 29.05.2015). I had not even received and information about his visit. On Friday itself I had informed the technician that I will not be available on Saturday. He called me today (Saturday) and asked permission for installation of washing machine, but today as well as on Monday I have some urgent matters to attend to and will not be available (as already informed). On arguing, I informed that I will report the matter to higher officials and the technician was rude to me over telephone. He did not even have patience or sense to deal or maintain customer relations. Due to him my work got suffered for half day and it was not fruitful as he did not turn up that day.
I request your goodself to take action against the technician and also see that technicians should be properly trained to behave and to provide satisfactory services to customer as it is their duty.
