[Resolved] IFB Washing Machine — No service on ifb washing machine | |||
The customer name is s.Arunkumar and the id is 114074. I own a ifb front loading washing machine. Its under amc with ifb. The machine emitted noises and vibrated. A complaint was made on[protected] ticket no [protected]). There was no response through a visit or a call. I was informed that the complaint has been closed as 'door locked'. (This was false and no attempt was made to call us if they found the door locked). Again i made a complaint on[protected] ticket no [protected]). After a good delay, a service person attended. He handled the machine roughly and broke the top plastic cover . He claimed that there is a hose gone bad and we have to also pay for the top cover ( which he broke). The estimate was to be well over rs. 2500. No attempt was made to make the machine functional. He advised to run the machine as earlier. After he left, the machine did not hold the water and the whole room was flooded. He did not turn back as promised. Again i learnt that the complaint was closed as 'cancelled'. As advised by the customer service i tried to contact the regional manager and the area in-charge . The calls / sms were no attended to. I booked another complaint on[protected] ticket no [protected]). I also caught hold of the area in-charge and was informed that he will take up further is we agree for the payments in addition to the amc. There was no dispute on further payments and i told him to attend the repair. He reluctantly assures to come after three days. My grievances / questions are : 1.The ifb has collected the amc amount in advance. Dont they have a responsibility to attend the repairs? 2. Even after nearly two months my machine is lying idle. Who will bear my expenses on washing the clothes through others? 3. How does the company accept closing of complaints at the whims and fancies of the service person with bogus remarks like as 'door locked', 'cancelled' etc. ? 4. Are the customers to pay for the damages done by the service person through rough handling? 5. Why not there be a phone call or sms as to the status of the complaint? Why should the customer beg the service person or the supervisory official for the current status? 6. Are the phones provided to the service persons or the supervisory officials for their personal use and are they not for attending to the calls of the customers? 7. Lastly, will my machine ever be serviced, if yes, after exploiting how much more money as additional expenses? Was this information helpful? | |||
