Sir,
I would like to bring to your kind notice of the bizarre levy for the so called “Mandatory Inspection” by the gas agency M/s. Anand Gas Agency being carried out under your information. As a responsible citizen and knowing the hazardous nature of the cooking gas, the said mandatory inspection may indeed be carried out but the levy of Rs.75/- for the visit for the peek inspection by the personal of the gas agency is bogus in nature. It is indeed shameful on the part of “Navratan” company to fleece consumers by these kinds of inspections.
As I did not budge to hand over the levy, the utterance of the inspector of dire consequence in future supply is taken as a threat issued by Indian Oil Corporation to each and every home maker of this country.
I request you to look into the matter and withdraw the levy for the inspection immediately.
In this connection, it may also be brought to your kind notice that the said agency has become a behemoth due to large consumer base due to which they are not able to supply cylinders within 30 days. Indian Oil may please take suitable action and ensure that at least one cylinder can be delivered to one household every month.
Yours faithfully,
(PRASEETA RAJESH)
