[Resolved] Indian Railway — Incorrect Availability status | |||
I have booked 5 tickets from Indore to H. Nizamuddin in train number 12415 and having PNR [protected]. When I start booking the current status was 96 seats available in class 3A But after booking I got the tickets as 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 RAC. Since booking time is 09:58:41 hrs. of 06-Aug-2014 then how it after booking train availability status is still 96 available at 10:11:31 hrs. of 06-Aug-2014. Request you to please confirm the below points. 1. Since the seats are available in train then why my status is still RAC 2. If my tickets is booked under some quota then why it is not displayed correct status before booking (please refer 2nd screen shot it is still showing 96 available). 3. Please share the grievance cell details so that I can move ahead in Public Interest so that in future no one get RAC/waitlisted tickets when he/she may only want to book confirmed tickets.
