Indian Railways — Guard signed train without proper verification

On October 22, 2023, my wife and I were preparing to board the Janshatabdi train from Trissur. As many passengers were yet to board, the guard of the train signaled its departure without proper verification. This hasty action put many passengers in a dangerous situation, narrowly avoiding a potential tragedy. The train had to stop again to allow remaining passengers to board.

I kindly request that the responsible personnel in charge of such operations prioritize the safety and well-being of passengers. It is essential that such incidents are not repeated, as human lives are at stake. Please ensure that proper procedures are followed to prevent such risks in the future."
