Indian Railways — prices of food/consumables

Dear sir/madam,

This is to bring to your notice that i am traveling in train no: 12101, which started yesterday from ltt, mumbai (28th may 2018).

The caterer (R. K. Associates, as i was told) are charging inr 25 for a cup of coffee and inr 40 for a meagre plate of poha, which i think are over priced, based on the price that i have paid outside for the same breakfast. When i asked for the price chart as given by indian railways, i was given one but there was no mention of poha.

Even after mr. Suresh prabhu had put in the efforts to standardise food prices inside the train still we (Common people) have to unwillingly pay for over-priced food items because we cannot carry all types of daily foods.
The coffee was 90% water and 10% milk. Naming a cup cappuccino doesn’t make the contents in the cup cappuccino. I have added the image of the cup with price tag that i paid for it.
